September 2026 supercharges

Calculator reliability fixes

Fix
  • Selecting the active Town Hall loadout preset again now clears it and restores the default loadout.
  • Reset now restores the default levels instead of switching to the Town Hall 18 maximum loadout.
  • Town Hall limits now prevent Earthquake spells from being used before Town Hall 8.
  • Mobile results no longer cover footer links at the bottom of the page.
  • Desktop results now stay visible while you scroll through longer loadouts.
  • Unavailable hero results no longer open an empty mobile details panel.
  • Building and hero icons are larger in desktop results for easier target recognition.

August 2026 crafted defense rotation

Change
  • Cake-A-Pult, Hero Hunter, and Hot Candle replace Air Bombs, Lava Launcher, and Roaster in the calculator.
  • The new crafted defenses unlock at Town Hall 11, with HP levels capped at 1-7 through Town Hall 17 and level 10 at Town Hall 18.
  • Hot Candle and Hero Hunter reach 6,000 HP at level 10, while Cake-A-Pult reaches 5,800 HP.

Custom target and level controls

Change
  • Town Hall caps are now an optional level guard that stays off until you enable it.
  • Changing Town Hall or using a quick-set preset now preserves your cap choice.
  • Building and hero pickers now show their in-game images in a custom, easier-to-scan menu.
  • Building, hero, and equipment levels now use smooth sliders that snap to exact levels, with precise minus and plus controls.
  • Spell and modifier menus now match the calculator instead of using the device's default dropdown style.

Simplified calculator layout

Change
  • The calculator now guides you through your loadout, target, and best combo in order.
  • Results now focus on your selected building or hero instead of showing both at once.
  • Optional equipment and manual limits stay collapsed until you need them.
  • Desktop and mobile layouts now use the cleaner ZapQuake visual style.

Clearer changelog and calculator help

Change
  • Updates are now grouped by date and labeled as New, Fix, or Change so they are easier to scan.
  • Calculator tips and FAQ answers now explain Town Hall limits, overkill, equipment rules, and common result problems.

July 2026 game data corrections

Fix
  • Barbarian King levels 106-110 are now selectable at Town Hall 18.
  • Archer Queen levels 106-110 are now selectable at Town Hall 18.
  • Grand Warden levels 81-85 are now selectable at Town Hall 18.
  • X-Bow levels 8-12 are now selectable at Town Hall 13-17.
  • Spell Tower level 4 is now selectable at Town Hall 17.
  • Lightning spells now deal no damage to Clan Castles.

June 2026 building levels

New
  • Builder Hut level 8 added at 2,100 HP.
  • Monolith level 5 added at 5,959 HP.
  • X-Bow level 13 and Scattershot level 7 supercharge HP added (X-Bow: 5,100 HP; Scattershot: 5,950 HP).
  • Builder Hut level 7 and Monolith level 4 supercharge HP removed after those defenses gained new base levels.

Earthquake overkill correction

Fix
  • Repeated Earthquake spell damage now uses the in-game diminishing formula for building and eligible hero calculations.
  • Overkill HP now reflects the corrected Earthquake damage when equipment damage is included.

Mobile-friendly redesign

Change
  • The calculator has a redesigned mobile layout with larger, easier-to-tap controls.
  • Spell, building, hero, and equipment levels now have plus and minus buttons next to the sliders.
  • Buildings and heroes are combined into one Target card with a Building / Hero switch.
  • Quick-set buttons fill in a maxed Town Hall 16, 17, or 18 loadout in one tap, and tapping the active one again clears it.
  • Your Town Hall, spell levels, and current target are now remembered on your device between visits.
  • Hero equipment is shown as a tap-to-include grid, with items locked until their Town Hall clearly marked.
  • Including a piece of hero equipment expands its card to full width so its level control sits cleanly below it.
  • On phones, the results bar highlights your current target with a one-tap switch to the other.

Flame Blower and Spiky Ball added

New
  • Flame Blower and Spiky Ball damage can now be included in calculator results.

May 2026 balance update

Change
  • Giant Arrow damage reduced at levels 9-18 (max level 18: 2000 → 1500).
  • Giant Arrow's Air Defense damage bonus now only applies when the target is an Air Defense.
  • Rocket Backpack damage reduced at level 21 (1925 → 1875) and level 27 (2200 → 2150).
  • Ranked hero HP bonuses now follow Legend League I, II, and III at 20% / 15% / 10%, replacing the older Electro Dragon League tiers.

April 2026 building update

Change
  • X-Bow and Scattershot now include their new Town Hall 18 max levels.
  • Supercharge HP updated for the defenses changed in the April update.
  • Homepage update and support buttons cleaned up on mobile and desktop.

Rocket Backpack added for Dragon Duke

New
  • Rocket Backpack damage and Town Hall caps added to the calculator.
  • Building plans can now include Rocket Backpack with one or two Earthquake spells.
  • Clan Castle added as a target building, with HP values and Town Hall caps.

April 2026 crafted defense rotation

Change
  • Air Bombs, Lava Launcher, and Roaster are now the active crafted defenses, with their HP values and Town Hall caps in the calculator.
