Privacy Policy

ZapQuake does not require an account or ask for your name, email, or address to use the calculator. This page explains browser storage, site monitoring, and external contributions.

Traffic and performance monitoring

Vercel Analytics measures page visits, and Vercel Speed Insights measures performance such as loading speed and responsiveness. They may process page addresses, referrers, approximate location, device and browser information, and performance timings. We use their reports to understand traffic and improve site speed. We do not send custom calculator or support events to Vercel.

Saved settings on your device

Your calculator selections are saved in your browser's local storage so you do not have to enter them again. We also save a visit count, the time of your last successful use, and whether the support invitation has been shown, so the invitation does not keep appearing.

A qualifying visit requires a calculator interaction and a successful result, with at least 30 minutes since the previous successful use. After three qualifying visits, the invitation can appear once on this browser. Clearing site data resets these preferences and may allow the invitation to appear again. These settings stay on your device and are not sent to us or third parties. They do not follow you to other browsers or devices.

Voluntary support through Ko-fi

Support links open Ko-fi, an external service. Contributions are optional and the calculator remains free for everyone; contributions do not unlock features. Ko-fi and its payment providers handle contribution and payment information under their own policies. We may receive information they make available to creators, such as a supporter name, message, contribution amount, or contact details. We do not collect card details on ZapQuake. See Ko-fi's privacy policy.

We do not count support-link clicks or send support-invitation views or dismissals to an analytics service.

Your choices and contact

You can remove saved settings by clearing this site's browser data. Browser privacy tools can also limit monitoring. For privacy questions or requests about information you have shared with us, contact zapquakecalculator@gmail.com.
